I know this fear because I'm not only a coach, I have been performing and teaching music and singing all my life and I have witnessed this anxiety in myself and my clients. The blank mind when a song has just begun and you can't for the life of you remember the first line of lyrics in a full venue or sitting down in front of a client and all you can think of is what the next question is going to be - I mean it has to be good doesn't it? I know how the body feels under that pressure, and I have faced the nightmare. I'm out the other side and it is the most rewarding healing experience, because that fear and anxiety affects us on so many levels. I'm a musician, award winning songwriter, vocal coach and life coach. Breaking free from the confines of imposed ideals and beliefs, reconnecting to the beauty and grandness of who your are and identifying the emotional stories that do not serve you, all enable you to let go of anxiety.
We work together through coaching and specific vocal, rhythmic and body awareness exercises.
You will unlearn the habits that keep you in tension when you speak and instead, learn to speak from the whole body instrument through specific vocal exercises that raise the vibrations and awareness and create harmony in your expression.
Finally we work on improvisation and discover the words that are spontaneous, that flow and those that your soul wants to express. We explore and write them - create with them, write a song with them, and have a lot of fun in the process!!
